The Spakho fire temple:
As one of the oldest fire temples in Iran and a national heritage, Spakho temple shows you a fine version of Sassanids architecture. It is amazing that the local people consider there as a church but there is no evidence to prove the presence of Christians in the region. The alter, fire place and the structure of dome precisely show the elements of a fire temple which used to be as a great comprehensive one in north east of Persia.
To visit this masterpiece of art you should go out of the city of Bojnourd around 115 kilometers towards Golestan Jungle.
