Introduction:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This word is used for the paintings which related the books in ancient time. This technique had a long history in ancient Iran but after the Arab invasion collapsed. After three centuries this art rose again but unfortunately we do not have so many handicrafts from that era due to the Mongol invasion. Later on in Ilkhanid era (1256-1335), this art blossomed once again in Tabriz and little by little it was presented in other cities and schools all around the country. The schools in Shiraz, Herat, Qazvin and Esfahan tried to cope up with the school of Tabriz to produce nicer products.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perhaps this art at first was used in books but after a while, especially in Safavid era, the artists tried this technique on walls and doors.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Miniature, actually is a nature that has been minimized but during the history of Iranian art this word is used for all of the Iranian paintings. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Nowadays this vocabulary can be used precisely for different paintings on jewels boxes, inkstand and small tabloids in colors and sometimes colorless or white brush.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Technique explanation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Usually, the brush which is used to draw miniature is made of cat\u2019s hair. Oil and color are very common in this technique. Watercolor, black pen, white pen and polishing are some of the ways most of the artists are using. The miniature technique is born in the creative mind of the master of this technique which can be painted on everything.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
