Masudieh Mansion:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A luxurious mansion in Baharestan which used to be a rival for Goletan palace in Qajar era (19th<\/sup> century) built by Zelostan the brother of Mozaferedin Shah. He was always against his brother and even his son and in the reign of his son he supported revolutionaries to fight the king. In Pahlavi era the first national museum and library and even the first ministry of education were established here. Nowadays here is just a nice mansion under the control of ministry of education.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zelosoltan always was after gaining kingdom but never could achieve it. That\u2019s why he was always angry and behaved other with brutality and anger. He ruined many artistic things and monuments all around the country and always tried to rebel against the government but he never succeeded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The both outdoor and interior designs is a fine combination of French and Iranian architecture which presents something new but in harmony. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The green dominant color reminds you of Versai in France but the circumstance gives you pure Persian culture. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Every corner of this palace tells you a lot of stories of glories, prides and domestic conflicts in Qajar dynasty. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The outstanding beautiful architecture of this palace is really beyond your imagination. The great fresco design and fine mirror work are undoubtedly one of the most valuable one among Iranian monuments.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately most of the parts have been destroyed through the years but there is a prominent will to restore this palace and rebuild it again. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is also a nice caf\u00e9 inside the palace which is considered as one of the best ones in Tehran. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

To visit this architectural masterpiece you should go to Baherestan subway station then go towards Jomhori Street and on the left side on the corner a palace draws your attention. <\/strong><\/p>\n
