Bishapour complex:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This complex includes the ancient city of Bishapur, reliefs of Tangeh Chogan and cave of Shapur near the city of Kazeroon. This complex was made by roman captives as a gift to Shapur the Sassanian emperor of Persia to compensate the war against him after their defeat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0 \u00a0\"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

The captives were respected completely and were used as workers and engineers. It is amazing that you visit a Roman city in the heart of Persia. Sassanians had so many wars against Romans and they could always defeat them. They ruled for more than 4 centuries from the 2th to the 6th <\/sup>centuries. Shapur was the second also the most powerful emperor of this dynasty who developed Iran in different aspects of science and technology. He was a brave man who was praised by both Iranians and Romans as a man of war, politicts and religion. Bishapur is Roman name which means for the glory of Shapur. There you could visit the biggest dome all around the world which unfortunately does not exist anymore. This city is a symbol of reign of Persians over the whole world at that time and is a great combination of glorious Roman-Persian architecture. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Besides this city and nice reliefs there is a cave on the top of the valley in which you face the 3 meters high statue of Shapur himself.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everything in this valley is so weird and glorious. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Remember that this road is so beautiful but too dangerous so drive carefully to enjoy more. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visiting Bishapur is something especial which is beyond imagination.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are so many people who have not heard anything from this city but you yourself should visit it to perceive its greatness.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To visit this special complex from the second century you should leave Shiraz from eastern part after two <\/strong>hours, this glorious city draws your attention.<\/strong><\/p>\n
