The Chehelsoton palace of Esfahan:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The host of celebrations, festivals and weddings in Safavid era and one of the nice Iranian gardens which presents the most beautiful paintings in Islamic era in its main hall.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shah Abbas the second wanted to have a palace larger than Ali Ghapou which had been built by Shah Abbas the first who had been the most powerful king of Safavid dynasty. He built Chehelsoton palace to present pure Iranian art to all of the foreigners who were visiting Iran. In Safavid era, so many European countries decided to visit Iran and communicate with its rulers due to fight against Ottomans and reach India, on the other hand the Persian emperors showed their highest level of hospitality to serve the foreigners as great as possible. <\/strong>Chehelsoton palace is one of those palaces which had this function to serve foreigners and present the beauty of Persian art. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

You visit the finest Persian painting in this palace and in the main hall. The painters even used gold to create something much more beautiful. They tried to depict the most important and prominent events including ceremonies and wars besides the stories of Persian literature. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

To visit this palace close to Naghshe Jahan square first you enter a nice Persian garden to reach the palace. Just like any other Persian garden there you find a big garden in which there is a big pool, so many long trees and a big mansion in the middle of the area. The Persian gardens are the symbol of Eden garden and they try to let you feel being in a place like heaven. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chehelsoton means forty columns and this name was given to this palace not because of having forty columns but due to the glory of forty in Persian mythology which is considered as the symbol of perfection. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
