It must seem strange to you that most of the perfume designers travel to Iran to buy original high-quality\u00a0rosewater\u00a0personally.\u00a0rosewater\u00a0is produced from damask rose which is a type of rose in a process developed by Iranians.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"rosewater\u00a0can be considered as another one of miracles of the ancient civilization of Iran which has a wonderful smell which attracts everyone. This liquid is the same essence of rose (damask rose) that 200 different types of it have been identified up until now but only a limited range of those are used in production of\u00a0rosewater.<\/p>\n

This spring flower grows rom mid-May to mid-June and has great health benefits and has many applications in perfume industry and is used for cooking and making pastry. In fact, we can consider\u00a0rosewater\u00a0as a gold with a good smell from the heart of Iran!<\/p>\n

Different types of rosewater<\/h2>\n

In fact, in general, there are three main types of\u00a0rosewater:
\nLiquid\u00a0rosewater: According to tradition 50 liters of water are considered for each every 30 kg of flower and the\u00a0rosewater\u00a0obtained from this amount is near 30 liters and is called \u201cliquid or\u00a0aromatic\u00a0rosewater<\/strong>\u201d.
\nRe-distillated rosewater: re-distillation of liquid\u00a0rosewater\u00a0creates a product which is called re-distillated or standard\u00a0rosewater. This type is better than the normal water and has much bitter taste and smell than liquid\u00a0rosewater\u00a0but it has the greatest therapeutic effect since its water has been evaporated and the resulting\u00a0rosewater\u00a0has higher concentration. Thus, this\u00a0rosewater\u00a0is suitable household and treatment use.
\nPurified\u00a0rosewater: re-distillation of re-distillated\u00a0rosewater\u00a0created a re-distillated\u00a0rosewater\u00a0with higher concentration which is very aromatic and is in fact called \u201cpure and genuine\u00a0rosewater\u201d which is rarely offered on the market.<\/p>\n

Sometimes flowers that have turned into pulp are mixed with a little amount of fresh flowers and are used for reproduction of\u00a0rosewater\u00a0which is called \u201cwaste\u00a0rosewater\u201d which has a low quality and naturally a low effectiveness and no therapeutic effects.<\/p>\n

Rosewater and things you better know<\/h1>\n

Since\u00a0rosewater\u00a0loses its effectiveness due to long storage, it should not be kept for more than one year.
\nrosewater\u00a0must be kept in the refrigerator and colored glass containers and know that the essence of\u00a0rosewater\u00a0reacts to materials forming plastic containers and loses its quality. Thus,\u00a0rosewater\u00a0should not be kept in these containers.
\nEnvironment and all the utensils that are used to produce\u00a0rosewater\u00a0must be sterile. Otherwise, fungus and mold can grow in it and thereby cause the turbidity of\u00a0rosewater\u00a0and degradation of its effective ingredients and\u00a0rosewater\u00a0in this case will have side effects instead of having therapeutic effect. Thus, you should pay attention to the transparency of\u00a0rosewater\u00a0when you are purchasing it.<\/p>\n

\"\"Note air will be gathered above the liquid after the use of\u00a0rosewater<\/em>\u00a0which its oxygen can cause oxidation of\u00a0rosewater\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0essence and in this case it will have no harm nor benefit for the consumers.<\/p>\n
