Daniel lived in Achaemenids era and could achieve great support from the Achaemeids who always used to support Jews.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Jews did not have a good social position in Assyrian era and especially in Babylon that\u2019s why so many of them decided to immigrate towards Persia. Even nowadays you can visit many graveyards and holy shrines of Jews in Iran. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>By the advent of Achaemenids in the heart of Persia other empires in Middle East were about to fade away. The great emperor of Achaemenids; Cyrus the great, decided to establish the kingdom of heaven on earth. He occupied so many lands including Babylon and set free many Jews and supported them to live free and preach Judaism all around the world. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel was one of those Jews who was supported by the Achaemenids and even after his death has been respected by all of the people and governors of Persia and especially Khuzestan. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This shrine is located in front of the royal palace of Susa in the city of Shush. It still draws your attention by its pilgrims and peaceful circumstance. When you enter there from the western gate you face a nice pool and a pointy dome which welcome you to visit the greatness of Daniel the prophet who has been recommended to visit by Muslim Imams and Mulas. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To know more about Daniel it is said that the prophet Daniel is one of four Major Prophets in Hebrew Scripture, along with\u00a0<b>Isaiah<\/b>,\u00a0<b>Jeremiah<\/b>, and\u00a0<b>Ezekiel<\/b>. The Book of Daniel is followed by the Prophet\u00a0<b>Hosea<\/b>, the first of the Prophets in the Book of the Twelve. Daniel in the Lions&#8217; Den is a favorite Bible story for children. In addition, the captivating prophecy, imagery, and symbolism make the Book of Daniel one of the most read of the Old Testament of the\u00a0<b>Bible<\/b>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The hero, Daniel &#8211;\u00a0\u05d3\u05b8\u05bc\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9\u05b5\u05bc\u05d0\u05dc\u00a0&#8211; a young Jewish prophet who lived in Babylon following the Babylonian Captivity or Exile, which began in 597 BC. The prophet Ezekiel, who wrote his prophecy in Babylon about the same time, mentioned three Biblical figures in a row as men of righteousness, Noah, Daniel, and Job (Ezekiel 14:14 and 14:20).
