Hamedan<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hamedan is located in western part of Iran and 300 kilometers far from Tehran. This city has been always important in history because of its geopolitical and strategic situation; that is the gateway of western part to the central part of the country, that\u2019s why you find so many monuments from different eras in this historic land.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hamedan or Hegmatane or Ekbatana used to be the capital city of Medians and the summer capital of Achamenids for more than four centuries! Even after those times and after the invasion of Alexander and his soldiers who savaged almost everything there, this city was so important to the rulers till the Arab invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n
