{"id":5987,"date":"2020-03-15T15:24:13","date_gmt":"2020-03-15T11:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/?p=5987"},"modified":"2020-03-15T16:50:03","modified_gmt":"2020-03-15T13:20:03","slug":"ghori-ghaleh-cave-in-kermanshah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/?p=5987","title":{"rendered":"Ghori Ghaleh cave in Kermanshah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ghoori Ghale cave in Kermanshah:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The biggest water cave in the Middle East near the city of Ravansar which dates back to sixty five million years ago.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5990 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/153-632-1-300x137.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"137\" srcset=\"https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/153-632-1-300x137.jpg 300w, https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/153-632-1-768x350.jpg 768w, https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/153-632-1-1024x467.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/153-632-1-600x274.jpg 600w, https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/153-632-1.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Archaeologists<\/b><strong>\u00a0say this teapot shaped cave is 65 million years old and its water depth is 3,140 meters. 550 meters of the cave was discovered by American, British, and French speleologists from 1957 to 1984, and in 1989 about 1,340 meters more was discovered by an Iranian team. The cave is made up of two stages; the first one is 500 meters long consisting of two halls, one similar to a camel&#8217;s hump and the other to Mother Mary.\u00a0Various statues have been formed in the halls with the shapes of a camel&#8217;s profile and hump, snake, parrot, karakas, stone lion, and \u2026\u00a0The second stage is a thousand meters long in which three halls were discovered.\u00a0Talare Namaz which means prayer hall in Persian, makes up the main part, is 12 meters long and located 550 meters inside the cave.\u00a0Talare Bolour which means crystal hall in Persian, is situated 1,000 meters inside the cave. The thin icicles in the small pool each create a musical sound when touched.\u00a0Talare Aroos which means bride hall in Persian is considered as one of the most magnificent areas in the Ghoori-Ghale that is situated 1,500 meters inside the cave.\u00a0The stones in this hall are glittering bright crystal and one&#8217;s footsteps remain when walked on.\u00a0Four waterfalls, having 10 to 12 meters high, situated 1.7 kilometers from the cave glorifying its beauty.\u00a0Calcite stalactites can be seen throughout the cave and the height of some reach about eight meters.\u00a0Other objects including eight plates, four huge pots and one small one containing 15 coins belonging to Yazd Gerd III, the last Sassanid emperor, and a human skull has been also discovered.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5991\" src=\"https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/unnamed-1-300x164.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"164\" srcset=\"https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/unnamed-1-300x164.jpg 300w, https:\/\/specialexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/unnamed-1.jpg 461w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>To visit this fabulous cave you should go towards Paveh town which is around 108 kilometers from the city of Kermanshah. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Special thanks to <em>www.iranontrip.ir<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just like a chamber of mysteries&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":5992,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_bbp_topic_count":0,"_bbp_reply_count":0,"_bbp_total_topic_count":0,"_bbp_total_reply_count":0,"_bbp_voice_count":0,"_bbp_anonymous_reply_count":0,"_bbp_topic_count_hidden":0,"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":0,"_bbp_forum_subforum_count":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[750],"tags":[1245,845,1246],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.2.1 -
