Falakolaflak castle:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the greatest memorial monument from Sassanian era, made by the order of Shahpur the first to support the western borderlines. That\u2019s why it was called Shapur Khast which means by the order or the will of Shapur in Farsi. Now adays it is called Falakolaflak which means the sky of the skies in Arabic.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is located just close to the grand bazaar in the center of Khorramabad on a high hill on which you can watch the whole city under your feet. This castle has witnessed so many historic events through the ages. Different dynasties have used this castle to rule the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you enter the place two shops on the either side of the gate draw your attention to the folkloric items including clothes, musical instruments and other handicrafts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best part of this castle is the museum of archeology and ethnology which shows you everything you need to know about Lorestan province.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the acme of bronze era to the reign of Sassanians and from the lifestyle of Lor people to the pure folkloric music all together make a good combination as an encyclopedia of Lorestan province.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
