Qeshm island<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having more than 30 kilometers width and 100 kilometers length makes this island the largest one in Persian Gulf. The beautiful nature of Qeshm not only has attracted many tourists in recent years but also has made this island a huge geopark which is one the largest one all around the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

there are so many natural and cultural attractions all over the island which drive you crazy and force you fall in love again and again. To name a few, I would mention The Portuguese castle, Chahkooh canyon, Grand Bazaar, Hera forests, The valley of stars and Hengam island as outstanding landmarks of Qehsm.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Portuguese came to the Persian Gulf in 15th<\/sup> century and occupied many important places in Persia so they built some great castles to rule the region better. They had two large castles in Qeshm and Hormoz islands which were occupied by Shah Abbas the Safavids.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ruins and debris of the Portuguese castle in east of Qeshm island is so close to the Grand Bazaar that gives you the opportunity of knowing the culture of people and buying some needed products.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember that the attractions in Qeshm are far from each other so having a precise schedule helps you visit them perfectly.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chahkooh canyon in south of the island is a great sample of the glory of geology for its fans. The shapes of the rocks in this canyon are extraordinary. It usually takes you less than 30 minutes to meet the last part of the common route inside the canyon. It is too hard to find drinkable water in Qeshm but it is weird the sweet water is found in Chahkooh.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another masterpiece of nature is undoubtedly the valley of stars which is one of the most beautiful artistic things made by the hands of God. The shapes inside this place show you the continuous change of nature which happens there by the power of torrential rains.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The valley of stars<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Due to the horrifying shapes, the local people used to call this place “the place of Demons” which is still used nowadays.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The valley of stars takes its name due to its great scenery in night time when the you can hug the stars as you find them so close to earth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the north west of Qeshm island there is a mysterious forest which is called Hera in which the waves change their altitude every six hours by the power of moon.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At last, I mention Hengam island as one of the most visited and most popular places in south west of Qeshm. The tourists usually visit Hengam to meet the Dolphins and special fishes in sea and the traditional bazaar on its shore in which you find the most beautiful shells in the region. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
