Beygheys; the huge ancient landmark near the city of Esfarayan, having 51 thousand cube meters, is the second largest clay citadel after Bam in Iran which dates back to Sassanids era. Having 29 towers which used to be 11 meters besides a deep-water canal made this ancient citadel an untouchable one in north east of Persia. unfortunately, the whole interior area has been destroyed due to the illegal excavations<\/strong> but it is still glorious and a real masterpiece.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
