There are so many countries in which the men rule almost everything using the power in their hands. In these countries the women usually face many problems while presenting themselves in society. On the other hand, there are few countries in which the women always have power and the right to not only present themselves but also get involved in different social, political and educational activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The women in Persian history:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the Achaemenid era, Persia has always been a suitable place for women to claim all kinds of demands they desire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Persian culture a woman was the symbol of fertility and the connection between God and people; she could give birth and her womb was considered as a sacred place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, the men used to worship and respect this sex and tried to protect their women as much as possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In ancient Persia women had various occupations and played an important role in the society but the holiness of their social character caused the advent of Hijab or coverage especially among the nobles. Later on, in Parthians and Sassanids eras due to the influence of Hellenism, the Persians changed their minds a little but the concept of Hijab did not change that much. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Persian culture the woman is sacred and precious just like a diamond and needs to be protected even if she is the queen of the whole empire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Arab invasion and the penetration of Islam this attitude was modified but not changed. The Persian men have always tried to treat their women as sacred idols, not as respected human beings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iranian women and the present situation in Iran:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nowadays the majority of workers in Iran including doctors, nurses, engineers, teachers, coaches and clerks are women and girls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have not forgotten their historical roles through the history of Persia in building and ruling their own country. They are more educated and wiser than any other time in the history of Persia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statistics show that recently more than sixty percent of university students in Iran are women and girls which has helped them grab and take more job opportunities in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frankly speaking they earn better than men and are much more knowledgeable so as a result can have a bigger portion in ruling the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my point of view, the pure Persian culture not only does not limit the women but also supports them to grow and develop in many ways but the hostile cultural norm has tried to ban them since the Islamic revolution in 1979.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am sure the Iranian women will take their social position back in near future and prove their power again.       <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
