Uraman or Uraman Takht is one of the most beautiful villages in Iran which is located in Uramant region of Kurdistan which is 75 kilometers far from Marivan.
The whole shape of the village is like Masuleh.
Uramanat includes two large and small parts. The latter one belongs to Iraq but the first part belongs to Iran.
Uraman means the house of sun.
The archeological excavations prove that the history of this place dates back to more than six thousand years ago.
The weather of Uraman is mountainous so just in Summer or spring you can visit there easily.
Although the people of Uraman are Sunni but they still follow many ancient traditions and they observe those traditions carefully; their language, their clothes, their behaviors and their norms remind you of a very ancient civilization.
Every roof is a yard for another house and the whole architecture shows the solidarity of people.
There is a famous feast in this place which attracts so many tourists from all around the world. That is called Pire Shaliar; a mystic ceremony full of joy and enthusiasm.
The roots of this ceremony dates back to ancient Zoroastrianism which later has been mixed by Islam.
Visiting Uraman is just like visiting a part of heaven.

If you actually can accomplish that, I could surely be impressed.
