The Bazaar of Tajrish:
A small traditional bazaar in Tajrish square in north of Tehran in which you find various luxurious traditional products.

It is an old bazaar but you can find everything very fresh and high class there. For example the best kinds of fruits, nuts, fabrics, carpets and so on are easily found there.
It is also connected to some modern shopping centers which presents a good combination of modernism and tradition. Right next to the western gate of this bazaar, there is a great holy shrine of Imamzadeh Saleh which attracts so many people from all around the country. You can enter there and would be accompanied with a guide (Who usually knows foreign languages) to visit the place and feel a sense of divine and mysticism.

There are usually so many people wandering inside of this bazaar buying and bargaining but do not worry because it does not take more than thirty minutes to visit all of the stores. You can also bargain but as it is located in uptown of Tehran so you may not expect any special discount.

Some items are totally recommended to buy like nuts, fruits and jewelry. The most fresh fruits and nuts always await you in Tajrish bazaar to let you taste the best kind of Iranian fruits and nuts.
If you are interested in gold so do not miss the gold and jewelry part due to so many various choices you are going to have in this bazaar. They are cheap, beautiful and gorgeous.
To visit the grand bazaar of Tajrish you should go to Tajrish square. You can take a taxi, bus or even subway. Remember that its subway station is deep down inside under the earth (a Joking Persian sentence), so it takes sometimes more than fifteen minutes to get out of the station.
