Naghshe jahan square:

The most beautiful square all around the world, confirmed by so many foreigner architects and tourists, including the great mosque of Shah Abbas, Ali qapou palace, Sheikh Lotfollah’s mosque, the pavilion of bazaar of Qeisarieh and Naghshe jahan. It’s been more than three centuries that this 600 to 100 meters place has been attracting various tourists to present the acme of Iranian architecture after Islam in Iran.

The Ali qapou palace used to be the tallest building in Esfahan the capital of Safavids till recent century. The infrastructure of this palace dates back to long time before Safavids era (15^th to 18^th) but Shah Abbas the first decided to develop and expand this building and build a great royal palace to receive so many guests from different parts of the world. Every corner of this huge palace presents something special of Iranian art but the most outstanding part is the music hall in which the king served his guests by music; the musicians played the music then left the hall but the music continued due to the interior design which was considered something magical.

Besides this huge palace the grand bazaar shows you all of the handicrafts you can find in Iran.

Another amazing great building is the mosque of Sheikh Lotfollah which used to be the royal chapel for the royal family and Sheikh Lotfollah the father in law of Shah Abbas the emperor in which you find peace and spiritual integrity.

Another attraction in this square is the mosque of Shah Abbas which is the biggest and one of the most beautiful mosques all around the country. The tile works inside and outside this masterpiece of art touches your heart and take you to the center of the pure Persian art.

It is amazing that Shah Abbas himself could not visit it when it had been completed.

To visit this nice square you should just ask everybody to lead you to the most famous square of Iran.
