The Shahdad of Kerman:

The cruel charming desert beyond the eastern mountains of the city of Kerman which always waits to show the visitors its beauty and thousands years of civilization.
There are a lot of guessing about Shahdad both for its nature and history which bring a lot of tourists and archeologists to explore and excavate.
Shah in Farsi means king and Shahdad means a place that was given by the king. The history of civilization in Shahdad dates back to more than 6 thousand years ago and no one really doesn’t know when exactly people settled down there.
There is the first place the archaeologists excavated some proofs to witness the first type of metallurgy in Iran and maybe all around the world.
Shahdad played an important role in developing trade between Mesopotamia and the civilization in India especially in bronze era.
Besides the historical importance, the natural attractions in Shahdad are substantial ones in Iran which give you a different experience that could be valuable and unique. The desert of Shahdad with its Kaluts and peace should be experienced by everyone.
Kalut, the largest cloddish city and the largest natural effects, in the Lut desert, is the unique desert complications. The Kalut is said to a sand mountain created by the effect of the dominant erosional agent in desert, i.e., wind making fascinating forms and shapes.
When you leave the city of Kerman for Shahdad towards east little by little you descend and go into a lower altitude and right after the mountains the vast immortal desert embraces you and invites you to touch the heart of nature.
