The history of Qazvin dates back to more than seven thousand years ago but through the ages many kings, emperors, merchants and tourists came to this city as it was located in the middle of Silk Road and was considered as a perfect connection between east and west of Persia.

Qazvin used to be called Cashpian or Caspian due to the Kassites who were the most important tribe in north of Persia who founded a city in the recent place of the city of Qazvin.
