Abtāf Falls:
Around a hundred kilometers in south of the city of Ilam, On the road going to Pahleh Zarrin from Meimeh and just close to Dehloran, Abtaf falls are among the most beautiful falls in Ilam province and the largest in Iran which have made a nice resort for the local people.
Besides the beautiful falls there is a prominent plant coverage over the region including thrush, almond, tragacanth, camel’s thorn, oak, mountain figs, hawthorn, acanthus, lotus flower and wild cherries along with many animals such as cow, sheep, goat, donkey, mule, hoarse and some scarce species like leopard, wolf, bear, hyena, fox, jackal and rabbit.
Visiting Abtaf is like visiting a part of heaven…
