Rostam castle in Sistan and Baluchestan
Dating back to Seljuk era and having 15 guardian towers and great architecture, Rostam castle of Zabul has been protecting the region for centuries and is considered as the greatest one in Sistan and Baluchestan in Islamic era.
This castle is located in 70 kilometers south west of Zabol and just like any other castle it was built in a strategic and geopolitical place having different sections such as residential, royal, governmental, public and praying.
This is a great sample of a Persian castle in south of east of country.
