The contemporary art museum:
An especial museum located in the west of Laleh park that keeps one of the most expensive art treasuries all around the world which were collected by Farah the queen before the Islamic revolution. This place also holds international fairs especially on painting. It is notable that the architecture of this place is something considerable which is a rare sample of the American frank Lloyd wright style in interior architecture in Iran which was built and opened in 1977 by the support of Farah the queen with an Iranian traditional outdoor architecture in windward style. Farah the queen of Iran was very interested in art as she had studied architecture in famous Sorbonne University in France that’s why she wanted Mohammadreza the king of Iran to dedicate a percentage of oil income to collect and buy great Iranian and international artistic antiques from all around the world and built outstanding galleries and museums in Iran. This decision was a real revolution in art which was made by the queen of Iran. The contemporary museum of Tehran is just a part of the collections she gathered. Even nowadays her collections, galleries and museums are still alive and attract so many tourists from all around the world. This museum itself has so many fans who visit it also hold different exhibition inside this special place. Close to this museum on the northern side there is a unique bazaar in which you find products that are made by people so there is a good place for self-employed people to show their works and sell them. When you enter the museum everything tries to attract you; from nice architecture to the fine artistic paintings. Its structure takes you into long endless aisle in which you visit the works and it is like traveling through the time.
To visit the museum you should go to Karegar street and while going towards north from Keshavarz street you see its nice entrance at the right side in the Laleh park.
