Parvaneh plaza of Tehran
Parvaneh plaza:

This amazing Friday bazaar, including four floors, is located in a parking close to the embassy of Great Britain. This bazaar undoubtedly, is a unique one all around the country in which you can find very different modern and traditional handicrafts beside antiques.
You usually visit six floors full of handicrafts and crowds of people who search for their favorite products and bargain for the prices. On the first floor the antiques await you; the antiques from two centuries ago to the modern time. On other floors except the last one you visit nice and cheap clothes beside modern handicrafts. On the last floor usually carpets and kilims touch your heart and force you to buy them. There are so many tourists who manage their itineraries to visit there on Fridays.

Remember that it is open from 8 am to 16 pm but I recommend you to be there before noon to escape from the crowd of people. Artists and tourists also prefer being there before noon to see better but if you are interested in visiting more people so you should visit there in the afternoon.

It is really a proper combination of modern and traditional arts which is presented in various handicrafts there. It is amazing that the artists present their modern handicrafts which is somehow weird in Iran that is the cradle of traditional handicrafts. These artists prove that producing handicrafts in Iran is an art which does not belong to any special era or generation. No matter they want to produce something traditional or modern, they are so talented and artist and are able to produce every single artistic masterpiece.
To visit this interesting bazaar you should go to Saadi subway station then take Jomhori Street backwards and in less than five minutes you find yourself in front of Parvane plaza.
Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is magnificent blog. A fantastic read. I will definitely be back.
