Nasirolmolk mosque in Shiraz

Nasirolmolk mosque:

A small mosque which is considered as the most beautiful mosque that dates back to Qajar (19^th century) era.

When you enter it at first sight you may think it is just another Persian mosque in which there are some common elements but little by little you would be totally submerged in the fabulous beauty of this beautiful mosque.

The dominant color is pink which used to be utilized in 18^th and 19^th centuries. The most beautiful and glorious part for sure is the chapel which is located on the right side of the gate you enter. From outside you may think it is just a simple chapel but you cannot expect and predict what awaits you inside.

While entering the chapel almost everything draws your attention and you may feel entering a new world full of beauty, peace and spiritual integrity.

There is also a small holy shrine in the corner which is somehow hidden but let you find another nice thing inside this mosque.

This mosque undoubtedly has no rival not only all over the Iran but also all over the world. Of course there are too many photos of it but visiting Nsirolmolk is something you should experience yourself to feel the great circumstances of it. An old technique but an immortal solution for human being.

There is famous for the colorful windows which present four main colors in Iran which are the representative of four seasons and four sacred elements; water, air, soil and fire.

These colors not only can make artificial carpets on floor but also do not let insects inside.  

To visit this nice garden you should go to Lotfalikhan Street which is one of the most famous streets in Shiraz. Remember that it is also so close to Narenjestane Qavam another masterpiece of architecture.
