Dowlat abad garden of Yazd:

Dowlat Abad garden which dates back to 18th century is considered as a perfect sample of pure Persian gardens. The gardens in which the water canals flow in different parts and the mansion in one third of the area receives the guest precisely and the trees not only help the circulation of the area but also give various fruits.
The founder of this garden was the ruler of the whole region in those times who decided to build a great Persian garden to present his greatness. He needed a water canal to bring water from the water sources about seventy kilometers far from Yazd. He did a masterpiece to do so which is even outstanding nowadays and attracts so many engineers to learn the traditional Iranian engineering.
When you enter this garden suddenly you feel peace and calmness and somehow detached from the city. Every single tree or every single wall of this huge garden submerge you in an ocean of love and beauty.
The most important part is undoubtedly the highest wind ward of the world which is more than 34 meters and used to be even higher than 40 meters and stands like a symbol of pure Persian architecture to show its highness to all of the tourists visiting this garden.
The amazing point is that the successors of that ruler still live in the northern corner of this garden but far from their old dignity.
