This museum presents different and various things from Islamic and pre-Islamic eras including 12000 artistic antiques.

The ground takes you to the ancient Persia and tells you a lot of stories from 7000 years ago to the Sassanians era. The first floor is dedicated to the Islamic era and relates the history of civilization after Arab invasion in Iran. The last part of the museum of Azerbaijan underground is an outstanding art gallery which is the representative of Iranian sculpturing including the masterpieces of Ahad Hosseini that takes a look at the history of ethics of human being through the ages especially the twentieth century.

The recent segment of the museum talks about the bas-relieves and tomb stones in Iran which is an amazing topic to discuss.
To visit this fabulous museum, you should go to the Emam Khomeini street just close to the Khaghani street. Visiting there let you know more in detail about the history of Iran especially Azerbaijan itself and is a nice experience for rest of your journey in Iran.
