Kabud mosque of Tabriz:
Although there are so many beautiful mosques in Iran but Kabud mosque or Guy Machid in Turki language or the mosque of Jahamshah is one of the best mosques which dates back to 5 centuries ago.
Due to the blue color of the tiles in this mosque, it is also called the turquoise of Islam.
Unfortunately, because of a horrible earthquake about 3 century ago most of the building was destroyed completely but the remnants still can prove the beauty of the golden era of this monument.
To be honest the stories of this mosque are more than the history of it. being in the heart of the city of Tabriz and close to the Silk Road made it as one the tenth important mosques in the world of Islam. You should visit there to judge the stories and mysteries.
