Arge Alishah of Tabriz:
As one of the oldest monuments in Tabriz and the representative of Ilkhanids era after 700 years, Arge Alishah has survived through the ages to tell a lot of historic and historical stories of the city of Tabriz.
This is considered as one of the highest and oldest walls in Iran which used to be a mosque and later was called Arg which means citadel.
Alishah was built to be the largest comprehensive mosque in that time including large praying saloons, schools, courtyards etc. But the death of Alishah; the prime minister of Ilkhanids era also several earthquakes have not let us visit the real majesty and glory of this monument.
Finding this monument is the easiest task to do in the city of Tabriz.
