Bahram’s palace Caravanserai
Around 60 years ago this place was found and excavated as the palace of Bahram (Ghasreh Bahram) one of the emperors of Sassanians.
Located in south of the city of Garmsar, this caravanserai has drawn attention through the ages and many tourists and historians mentioned and talk about it.
There use be so many gore khar in the region and even in late twenty century there were a lot of hunters enjoying there.
The brick work shows Safavids style and there is no evidence proving that this caravanserai belongs to Sassanian era.
This caravanserai could connect Esfahan, Khorasan and Rey and helped many merchants.
After the first world war little by little people lost their interest in this place but in recent years many ecotourists visit there and use it as a nice connector of nature and history in Kavir national park.
