Chehel Dokhtar tower in Damghan

6

Dating back to a thousand years ago, this tower in the city of Damghan is one of the symbols of Persian architecture in that era.

Having 15 meters height, 5 meters interior diameter and 23 meters outdoor area has made this tower one of the greatest one in Iran.

There is an inscription on the outdoor of the tower mentioning the name of the founder and the date of foundation in Kufi language.

You can enter the tower through a small door then face a simple stucco tomb stone whose owner has not identified yet.

The way you break down ideas is like a chef explaining a recipe, making hard to understand dishes seem simple.
