How can you get there?
The best way to go there from Tehran is taking a direct flight but most of the people prefer train which is much cheaper. We suggest you take the road to Semnan then continue your way towards Mashhad to visit more nice landscapes.
Remember that this journey takes 10 hours if you decide to take the car.
Expenses:
As one the largest cities in Iran, Mashhad seems to be an expensive city but as the main religious city in Iran is one the cheapest places you can enjoy most.
